Mañana Hoy is composed of eight spacious apartments arranged in three connecting Mediterranean style towers. There are five double, two single and a studio apartment. Each apartment is self-contained, having separate bedrooms with air-conditioning facilities, bathrooms, kitchen, and large joint lounge and dinning area. The apartments are quaint and individually styled with rattan furniture and some colonial type pieces. Each room has an overhead ceiling fan and screened louvered windows. The double bedroom apartments boast queen-sized double beds and balconies on which you can enjoy an evening aperitif of local rum or take in the view. All lounges have 70 channels of cable television and comfortable sofas and chairs for you to enjoy the television programs or just relax into.
A well equipped kitchen set off to one side, has amenities including fridge-freezer, gas cooker, microwave and a toaster-oven. There is sufficient cutlery and table-ware to entertain guests and friends. For a small charge a maid and cook can be supplied.
Services
All linen and towels are provided and changed weekly.
Apartments are cleaned once a week.
There is a communal washing machine.

Swimming Pool and Terrace
We are fortunate in having our own large secluded swimming pool with poolside sun-loungers, as well as an outdoor kitchen area with a charcoal grill barbeque overlooking the pool. For dedicated sun-worshipers we also have a terrace which offers great views of the sea.
Beach and weather
A fresh cool breeze all day long while sunbathing on Costambar Beach. It’s on the north coast of the Dominican Republic and the Atlantic Sea Coast. White sands with few people during the week and more during the weekends when the locals from the surrounding areas come to enjoy the beautiful resort. All costal areas are public property and all citizens have full use of them. It’s limited because it’s a gated community (Costambar means amber coast).
The weather here is nearly always hot 30 /35 Celsius.
Communications (airports, roads, taxi pick up from the airport etc)
At arriving at Puerto Plata airport there is $10, 00 charges for all visitors which is used for improvement to the infrastructure of the island.
Please allow only one porter to handle the luggage and tip that person what you would at home.
The taxi fares are set by the tourist board, about 30 US to Costambar. It’s takes about 30 min to get here.
The airport is situated between Sossua and Puerto Plata. Most major airlines come in.
Costambar and surrounding area (supermarkets, relaxed, laid back feel, Puerto Plata history - Columbus landed in the Bahams in 1492, after a 36 day voyage. After stocking up for the return trip to Spain. In the ships log for Nicholas Day, 6 December,1492. They recorded spotting an island of extreme beauty. Clombus named it La Espaniola, or little Spain.)
Costambar is a small, gated community with a mix of people from Europe, North America and the Dominican Republic.
